New Scale-Up Chromatography System Offers Faster Separations

Teledyne Isco, Inc. announces the introduction of the CombiFlash Torrent flash chromatography system, with enhanced capabilities for high flow rates and large sample loading. Chemists can now perform development scale purifications, while still taking advantage of the reliability and ease-of-use of Teledyne Isco’s CombiFlash purification systems.

The CombiFlash Torrent Purification System is capable of running at flow rates of up to 1 liter per minute, and rapidly purifying large samples up to 300 grams. High pressure 100 psi (6.89 bar) pumps accurately deliver a reproducible binary gradient through all flow rates.

The system is designed with flexibility in mind, and addresses a wide variety of large scale purification needs. Flexible methods of sample injection and collection are available.

Teledyne Isco’s easy to use and reliable RediSep Rf columns utilize RFID technology to communicate important information to the Torrent system, thereby quickly creating error-free methods. Column information is stored on RediSep Rf columns and last run recall is accessed through the RFID tag. New RediSep Rf large scale columns are available in a broad range of sizes and media types, including High Performance Gold, and meet all CE and CSA pressure regulations.
