What are they?
In short a cookie is a small text file placed on your computer, tablet or phone or other device when you access the internet.
Why we use them
Session cookies are the temporary cookies which only exist when you're in a session on our website. These delete once the browser is closed. Google Translate - You may have seen this google product before. This allows the content of a website to be translated into any language for the user. This system is often automatically presented by your browser. If you engage with this tool, it may place a cookie on your device to offer the future translation services to you.

YouTube - YouTube is a google owned product, and we sometimes use their hosting service for video and audio files. These will show in a window on our portals. In some cases a cookie will be on your browser from a past YouTube engagement, and this will then determine the next video that may automatically run when the video we have posted ends.
