NACALAI TESQUE (JAPAN) introduces COSMOSIL HILIC for hydrophilic interaction chromatography. This novel triazole bonded silica stationary phase provides higher polarity than non-modified silica columns, resulting in stronger hydrophilic interactions. The positively charged triazole stationary phase also offers an anion-exchange mechanism, enabling the strong retention of acidic compounds.

The COSMOSIL HILIC Chromatogram Index, which includes 167 chromatograms using COSMOSIL HILIC, is available on the NACALAI TESQUE website. This index is a useful tool for all chromatographers, assisting them to optimize analytical conditions for hydrophilic interaction chromatography.
