Nacalai Tesque manufacture a range of speciality silica-based core-shell columns designed for applications for compounds which are poorly retained or insufficiently resolved on conventional C18 columns.

COSMOCORE Cholester is a cholesteryl-bonded reversed-phase column which shows similar hydrophobicity to traditional C18 phases, but enhanced stereoselectivity, particularly for the resolution of geometric isomers and other closely related compounds.

COSMOCORE PBr is a pentabromobenzyl-bonded reversed-phase column which is capable of retaining hydrophilic compounds. It offers better ease of use compared to HILIC and exhibits good performance with nucleic acids, surfactants, glycosides and peptides.

All COSMOCORE phases are available on 2.6 µm core-shell and 5 µm fully porous particles.

For further information on any of these speciality or any other COSMOCORE or COSMOSIL columns, please contact Hichrom on Tel: 0118 930 3660 or e-mail.
