Rapid Sealing Products for 96 Well Plates

Hichrom are pleased to announce that they are the UK distributor for 96 well plate sealing products manufactured by Bio Chromato, Inc. of Japan. These products are high specification seals for 96 well plates.

The Rapid EPS is an easy pierce seal that has excellent resistance to DMSO, Methanol and Acetonitrile and is also airtight. It does not clog your needle, will not contaminate your samples and there is no need to use a thermal sealing instrument with these seals.

The Rapid Slit Seal is a seal that allows for multiple penetration without damaging the sealing of your plate. The construction cleanses without damaging the needle, nor does it leave particulate material that clogs the needle and there are no harmful effects on the autosampler.   

Both seals are ideal for LC-MS applications and will maintain a seal at temperatures from ~80°C (Rapid EPS) or ~37°C (Rapid Slit Seal) down to minus 80°C.

The unique Rapid Slit Seals are self-closing to minimise solvent evaporation. Rapid EPS have an embossed surface for easy piercing and have superior solvent resistance.
