The consortium was awarded a grant by the Technology Strategy Board (TSB) as part of their High Value Manufacturing Competition in 2009. The 3 year project is now at the halfway point and significant progress is being made to develop small footprint, versatile, liquid-liquid purification instrumentation packages and methodologies These can be operated seamlessly at a range of scales, from laboratory to kilo/pilot scale in both batch and continuous modes.

Since the start of the project, an applications portfolio covering a wide range of samples from pharmaceutical discovery and development has been documented demonstrating the capability and effectiveness of the technique. This information is now ready to be disseminated to the wider community. As well as giving presentations at international conferences, technical and scientific articles have been published. This data has now been collated and is available through a blog located on the Dynamic Extractions website (www.dynamicextractions.com). By visiting the site and registering, you can receive regular updates as the project progresses.

Dynamic Extractions, an international supply company for the instrumentation, has fully functional applications/feasibility laboratories at their UK headquarters in Slough, Berkshire, and their USA headquarters in Monmouth Junction, NJ. At both facilities they are pleased to receive customer samples to perform feasibility studies, instrument demonstrations and outsourced contract separations.
