NEW UHPLC columns - for Alternative Selectivity

HALO, the ‘original’ Fused-Core UHPLC columns manufactured by Advanced Materials Technology, feature a 0.5µm porous silica layer ‘fused’ onto a 1.7µm solid silica particle. The resulting columns provide faster separations and higher sample throughput, without compromising column efficiency, ruggedness and reliability. HALO® Penta-HILIC is the latest addition to the range of original Fused-Core® columns for HPLC and UHPLC (ultra-fast) separations from Advanced Materials Technology.

These Fused-Core® particles generate significantly lower back pressure compared to other UHPLC columns, enabling them to be used with any conventional HPLC or UHPLC instrument.

The highly retentive, proprietary penta-hydroxy-ligand of this new HALO Penta-HILIC phase introduces additional mechanisms of separation and provides excellent peak shape for polar compounds with a variety of functional groups (acids, bases, zwitterions, peptides, sugars, nucleobases, nucleosides, nucleotides etc).

HALO® columns are also available as C18, C8, HILIC (unbonded silica), RP-Amide, Phenyl-Hexyl, Peptide ES-C18, ES-CN and PFP phases.
