Handy Tool for straightening 1/8 or 1/16th stainless steel HPLC tubing

Microsolv Technology’s precision-made pliers are modified for very precisely grabbing and without kinking, laboratory grade stainless steel tubing in either 1/8th or 1/16th inch outer diameters. The modified tip of the tool allows for easier access inside an HPLC or other lab instruments, such as behind injectors, inside the autosampler and other hard to reach places on the HPLC, UHPLC or front end of an LCMS.

The Beta Tool2™ can be used to remove internal kinks in tubing by squeezing the tubing where the kinks are located. Put tubing in the appropriate position in the tool and simply squeezing the hand grips. Also, it has been reported that using the Beta Tool2™ for bending or shaping SS tubing helps to maintain the internal flow path and better data.

The Beta Tool2™ is a useful tool for any lab using 1/8th or 1/16th inch stainless steel tubing.
