Flat film degasser delivers superior efficiency

Biotech Fluidics has unveiled its latest advance in fluidic degassing: the DEGASi® Flat Film in-line degasser. Moving away from conventional tubing, this system uses specialised flat film to remove dissolved gases, delivering higher degassing efficiency and better compatibility with viscous liquids and nearly all organic solvents.

With a chemically inert, metal-free flow path, the DEGASi® Flat Film is biocompatible and more sustainable, cutting PFAS content to just a tenth of traditional tubular degassers. Its enhanced performance allows a higher vacuum set point for volatile solvents while minimising the loss of mobile phase to the lab atmosphere.

The degasser can be used as a stand-alone unit or integrated as an OEM component, and its extremely low flow restriction makes it possible to link up to six chambers in series for higher flow HPLC or process applications - all without losing efficiency.

Compact yet powerful, the DEGASi® Flat Film pairs with the latest Degasser Vacuum Control unit and fifth-generation StabiliX pumps, offering ultra-stable vacuum, reduced noise, and long-lasting, trouble-free operation.
