YMC HT: High Performance Glass Columns for Temperatures up to 70 °C

YMC HT glass columns set a new standard for temperature-sensitive applications. Their highly robust design enhances flexibility in method development, allowing operation at temperatures of up to 70 °C. The portfolio includes four inner diameters from 10 to 50 mm and various glass lengths, ensuring full compatibility with all types of packing materials.

All wetted parts provide maximum chemical resistance—not only to aqueous buffers but also to strong organic solvents. This makes the YMC HT columns the ideal choice for oligonucleotide purification. In addition to RP applications, they are also suitable for all BioLC applications thanks to their metal-free flow path.

Reliable Design for Easy Handling

The proven screw-lock system allows for intuitive handling with fast opening and closing. Temperature control is managed via a heating jacket, which comes with adapters for standard water baths. Made of borosilicate glass 3.3, the heating jacket ensures maximum robustness regarding cleaning and lifetime.

Fully porous frits lead to optimal flow distribution, and in combination with the linear piston movement, excellent packing results are achieved. Reliable sealing across the full temperature range from 4 to 70 °C is guaranteed by a squeezed O-ring.
