The Shimadzu University recently held a series of complimentary ‘Sharing best practice’ events at the company’s Centre of Excellence in Milton Keynes. These were open to any Shimadzu customers interested in learning more about how to get the most reliable results from their methods. Six events were held over six days, with 178 attendees from a range of areas, including hospitals, pharmaceuticals, public sector and private industry. The event programmes covered how to apply best practice in LC/LCMS, GC/GCMS and Spectroscopy. Participants engaged in hands-on practical exercises, workshops and question and answer sessions with experts.

Feedback from attendees indicated that information from the presentations and practices went a long way to assisting them in their day to day work, giving them a clearer understanding of the basics of the techniques they are using.
