Similar to YMC-Triart Bio C4, YMC-Triart Bio C18 columns offer 300 Å pore size and are specifically designed with peptides, proteins, and oligonucleotides in mind. The hybrid-silica base and polymeric bonding provide an extremely robust C18 phase with a wide temperature (up to 90°C) and pH range (1-12) that excels at separating mid-MW biomolecules.
In this example of somatropin, a peptide of 22 kDa, good peak shape can be obtained with the widepore columns YMC-Triart Bio C18 and YMC-Triart Bio C4. Excellent separation was achieved using YMC-Triart Bio C18 with longer alkyl chains in its bonded phase. With this further addition, the YMC-Triart column portfolio offers ideal RP solutions for any kind of biomolecule.
YMC-Triart Bio C18 is available in 1.9 µm particle size for UHPLC as well as 3 and 5 µm for standard HPLC. Bioinert (U)HPLC column hardware, (semi)preparative YMC-Actus columns or micro/nanoLC dimensions are available as well.
