Thermo Fisher Scientific, the world leader in serving science, has taken high-end UPHLC to a new level. This new ultra high performance liquid chromatography system was designed from the ground up to provide new levels of performance, productivity and usability when used as a standalone system or with the latest mass spectrometers.
The new Thermo Scientific™ Vanquish™ UHPLC looks different from standard UHPLC systems, and there are benefits to its clean design. The monolithic case contains an instrument that combines the ruggedness of an integrated system with the flexibility and serviceability of a modular system. Vanquish system stands about 25% lower than comparable modular stacks for safety and convenience in the laboratory.
Driving the separation power is done by pushing the boundaries of UHPLC to a maximum pump pressure of 1500bar (22.000 PSI) and flow rate up to 5 mL/min. To take full advantage of this impressive range there is the dedicated Thermo Scientific™ Accucore™ Vanquish™ UHPLC column, to maximise both throughput and resolution with your separations.
The Vanquish system advances accuracy and reproducibility for high-throughput application needs. The system ensures that all components, like flow delivery, sample introduction, temperature control and detection speed contribute to the most reliable data. The new Charger module, which is a fully integrated robotic module, provides unattended, environmentally controlled sample management and loading into the Vanquish UHPLC system.
The system also provides higher levels of sensitivity with the new LightPipe Diode Array Detector, designed to generate high-confidence data over a wide linear range with high signal-to-noise performance, beyond the capabilities of variable wavelength detectors. Additionally, the Vanquish Charged Aerosol Detector expands the detection capabilities of the Vanquish system, by bringing near-universal detection to the top of UHPLC separations.
The Vanquish system also provides confidence with superior temperature control capabilities. This includes direct heating and forced air temperature control modules in the column compartment, further enhancing separation efficiency and selectivity, as well as retention time reproducibility.
Other features add to the system’s performance, throughput and usability, including:
Optional handheld tablet lets users conveniently monitor system status, check runs and make changes.
