RF-20Axs Fluorescence Detector

The new Shimadzu fluorescence detectors enhance the excellent performance of the prominence HPLC series. The detectors support a wide range of applications from routine to high-performance and ultra-fast analysis. Spectrofluorometric detectors are used in various application fields such as food, pharmaceutical and environmental analyses. The users’ major demands are sensitivity and support for ultra-fast analysis (UFLC).

Thanks to the newly designed optical system, the RF-20Axs detector provides ultra-high sensitivity and supports ultra-fast analysis with data acquisition rates up to 100Hz. The dual channel mode allows further optimization of existing methods. The detector offers significantly easier maintenance, including an extended lamp life of 2000-hours. Lamp and cell can be accessed from the front panel. The lamp is pre-positioned on a special holder, after installation this does not require any further adjustment in the instrument.

The RF-20Axs has cell temperature control, including cooling, showing excellent reproducibility by conducting temperature control near room temperature. The instrument incorporates an internal mercury lamp for automatic wavelength checks and for supporting system validation.
