KIN-TEK revolutionised permeation tube technology further developing to produce Trace Source™ Disposable and Refillable Permeation Tubes. This technology is employed in KIN-TEK’s Gas Standard Generators providing accurate, on-demand calibration standards for over 550 chemical compounds, each with a Calibration Certificate traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

KIN-TEK’s products feature Disposable & Refillable Permeation Tubes and a range of Gas Standard Generators and accompanying modules to provide dependable gas calibration for laboratory & process analysers, including GC’s.

Permeation Tubes: Accurate, safe, and easy to use

Any lab that requires accurate calibration gas standards benefits from using KIN-TEK Trace Source™ Permeation Tubes combined with a KIN-TEK Gas Standard Generator. Permeation Tubes provide accurate sub-ppm to pptr gas concentrations for calibrating GC, GC-MS, and other devices without the requirement of gas cylinders. While both Trace Source™ Permeation Tubes and gas cylinders are certified NIST traceable, Trace Source™ Permeation Tubes provide; ease of storage and handling of multiple compounds, pure standard without addition of impurities or loss due to adsorption, multiple gases and multi-point calibration curve, and availability of over 550 NIST traceable chemical compounds. These problems are solved by using permeation tubes in lieu of gas cylinders. A KIN-TEK permeation tube used within a KIN-TEK gas standard generator is the best scenario for calibration.

KIN-TEK’s Gas Standard Generators include the FlexStream™, 491Flex™, EcoFlex™ and others. Gas standard generators can operate as stand-alone calibrators or be combined into a Gas Standard Generator System configured to solve the most complex applications.

The FlexStream™ is KIN-TEK’s flagship calibration gas standard system and is fully automated and expandable for generating precision calibration gas mixtures. The base module utilises a mass flow controller and PID temperature controller for precise measurements. It can be used as a computer controlled standalone permeation tube calibrator, or combined with other FlexStream™ modules to create complex ppm, ppb, or pptr mixtures.

The FlexStream™ Base Module is controlled by the color touchscreen or remotely with a user supplied PC running FlexLink™ Software. Supplemental FlexStream™ Modules include; PM Auxiliary Permeation Module, GF/PM Gas Feed Permeation Module, SD Secondary Dilution Module, HG Humidification Module, and IM Interface Module. Each FlexSteam™ System requires the base module with additional modules (up to 6 in a series). Multiple cabinets may be used to accommodate additional modules for the most complex applications.
