Innovation in Separations Science – Last Chance to Register
May 26 2011
Waters is pleased to present Innovation in Separations Science, a unique conference where scientists from all over the UK can present their innovative applications of UPLC, SFC and MS technologies. This two day meeting will be held at the Marriott Hotel Leicester on June 21st - 22nd, 2011.
Take this opportunity to meet up with colleagues, share experiences and discuss the recent advances in Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography, Mass Spectrometry and Supercritical Fluid Chromatography.
Discover the scientific benefits and business advantages created by innovative analytical science solutions.
Choose from 4 application focussed parallel sessions:
Food and Environmental Testing
This session will include the latest innovations in LC/MS for Food and Environmental testing. We have invited a number of speakers from both UK and International laboratories to present their work.
A Users’ forum will include discussion topics such as:
• Screening vs. confirmatory techniques
• Total solution/ automation approach to routine analyses
• Financial challenges in the lab
Separation Technologies in Support of Synthetic Chemistry
The focus of this session is on chromatographic tools available for analysis and isolation of compounds in support of Synthetic Chemistry. Speakers from industry and academia will present their latest work and Waters will showcase technologies designed to enhance the quality and reduce the cost of these challenges.
QC and Method Development
Included in this session is an introduction to Empower 3 . We will also bring together the latest work from both customers and Waters in the implementation of UPLC within QC and Method Development laboratories.
Biopharmaceuticals
The Biopharma session will bring together key scientists and academics from the UK to discuss the latest developments in LC and LC/MS.
Conference Dinner
A Conference Dinner will be held at the National Space Centre. Our special guest speaker is the celebrated physicist Professor Brian Cox. Brian Cox is Professor of Particle Physics at Manchester University, and one of the leaders on the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN in Geneva.
Who should attend? This conference is intended for all users of Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry, as well as existing users of Waters instruments. Scientists from around the UK will have the opportunity to present their innovative applications of UPLC and MS technologies.
