The presence of undissolved gas microbubbles can result in changes in retention time, pulsating baseline, unexpected changes to peak area, irregular peak shape, pump outage and excessively high back pressure. As a result of these problems, the accuracy and precision of your HPLC separations can decline. Designed to monitor up to two HPLC pump feed lines simultaneously, the Solvent Line Monitor from Testa Analytical non-invasively checks the status of liquid flows and will give an alarm and stop operation if any gas microbubbles are detected thereby safeguarding your HPLC system operation.
