Upasil® is the brand of silica gels for chromatography produced by upag ag, based in the heart of Switzerland.

Our product range includes irregular silica from 40Å up to 500Å in pore size, available in all standard particle

size distributions.

We focus on well documented and reproducible processes and a narrow particle size distribution. At least 80% of the particles are within the given size range (allowing max 10% over- and under- size).

Besides the irregular silica’s we offer micro spherical silicas, TLC-grades and bonded silicas.

Our roots go back to 1946, when we started to import chemicals from overseas. As a privately held company since the beginning, we always focussed on the needs of our customers. With the MBI of the current owner in 2007 own production capacities were built up step by step.
