In 2009 the Society’s Martin Medal was awarded to Professor Wolfgang F. Lindner. This followed his award in 1991 of the Societies Jubilee Medal awarded to ‘up and coming scientists’ so the potential was certainly fulfilled through to the elevated company that Prof. Linder now finds himself alongside.
