Safe, hassle-free beverage gas analysis

Apr 19 2024

KEM’s GVA-710 Gas Volume Analyzer is currently used by some of the beverage industry's largest companies thanks to its reliability and ease and safety of use. The instrument tests for indicators of beverage product safety and quality such as ‘Gas Volume’ (for CO2, O2, and ‘Total Air’) and container inner pressure and is compatible with canned and bottled (glass or PET) drinks 160-2000mL in volume.

‘Gas Volume’ tells you the carbonic acid strength, a factor that influences beverage taste and texture. ‘Total Air’ and O2 content indicate oxidation risk, vital to know in maintaining product quality. The ‘inner pressure’ is important to know in ensuring that beverage containers maintain their shape and safety of use and that beverage quality stays consistent.

Conventional methods of measuring the above often require manual shaking and can be stressful owing to the risk of the user coming into contact with hazardous absorbent chemicals. The GVA-710 eliminates the risk of injury and user fatigue thanks to its shaking mechanism and closed absorbent burette system. After setting your sample, closing the shaker's door and selecting your measurement sequence, the GVA takes care of the rest, providing safe, hassle-free measurement.
