Laboratory testing has proved brands of packaged milk from the Pakistan Dairy Association (PDA) contain no melamine, the organisation has claimed.
Chairman of the body Sarfaraz Rahman told the Express Tribune that Eurofins - a food analysis centre based in Hamburg, Germany - cleared the products.
He remarked: "With the court's permission, the PDA is sharing the Eurofins report with the media ... The report supports the standards adopted by packed milk producers."
Mr Rahman also called for standardisation across the milk industry, adding that the government should step in to ensure optimal quality.
Manufacturer's goods that were deemed "fit for human consumption" included Good Milk, MilkPak, Haleeb, Nurpur, Tarang, Everyday and Dairy Queen, with Eurofins' report being sent through to the Lahore High Court for viewing.
The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India recently asked state governments within the nation to analyse milk samples from Chinese imports for melamine levels, the Business Standard reported.
