A Hydrocarbon free - dry Vacuum Pump for Demanding Applications in the Laboratory

Following the current market trend for dry running, chemically resistant pumps and pump combinations Ilmvac can offer the new fine vacuum pump type TKC - M 60. Technically, the pumping station consists of a new claw - diaphragm pump combination that reaches a final pressure to 5 • 10^-2 mbar. For the measurement and monitoring of the pressure at the suction side, the pump station is equipped with the vacuum gauge MRV 100 and the chemically resistant sensor PIZA 111 cr - gold. The pumping station is built in a disguised, wheeled frame and thus a standard, the often requested by the customer mobility.

Due to the high average pumping speed of 32 m³ • h^-1 in the pressure range from 10 to 0.1 mbar, for chemically problematic applications the use of an optional flushing gas system for dilution of aggressive media is also possible. Through an integrated bypass line parallel to the diaphragm pump the pumping station also has a high pumping speed in the rough vacuum range of up to 60 m³ • h^-1.

Applications include: fine vacuum distillation, drying and degassing; sublimation (such as lyophilisation); vapour deposition and sputtering applications; central vacuum supplies; rough and fine vacuum applications, e.g. as a technical alternative to dry-running Roots pumping stations with an increase of the pumping speed in the medium vacuum range and an improvement of the final pressure to 5 • 10^-2 mbar; high and ultra high vacuum applications, e.g. as pre-vacuum source for large turbo molecular pumps from a pumping speed > 1000 l • s^-1.
