Fast mercury analysis in food and nutraceutical samples
Feb 13 2017
When it comes to analysing large volumes of samples in FMCG industries such as foods and nutraceuticals, speed and accuracy are of paramount importance. Direct mercury analysis as described by EPA 7473 is an alternative method to traditional time consuming techniques and requires no sample preparation whilst delivering results in under 6 minutes.
The MiIestone DMA range of systems from Analytix allow mercury analysis in all food samples including cereals, preserves, coffee, dairy, herbs and spices, meat and vegetables. Single shot injector and autosampler systems are available that have the advantage of running on air so no cylinder or house gases are required.
An application report highlighting the advantage of this technology in analysing botanical extracts, vitamins, and dietary supplements is available, for more information visit www.analytix.co.uk/sales/ or call 0844 800 4220.
