FreeStyleTM GPC s a flexible, open access solution for the sample preparation of pollutant analytes in difficult matrices. Although QuEChERS has established itself as the sample preparation method of choice for many complex food matrices, Gel Permeation Chromatography (GPC) Clean-Up remains the only viable option for extreme matrices. These include fats, spices, teas and sedimentary samples, such as soil, where the analysis of contaminant compounds like pesticides, PCBs, Dioxins and PAHs is essential.
The Leading German Company LCTech GmbH has specifically designed, from the ground up, the FreeStyle GPC platform. FreeStyle can easily be tailored by you the user, to your own specific application. Capable of sampling from a wide range of vials and collecting into a wide range of vessels, the system is highly flexible, yet simple to use and reliable. The FreeStyle can accept up to 84 samples in 16ml vials for collection into 50ml TurboVap vials, and 60 samples for collection to 250ml Vials or 100ml Flasks. You can even use rotary evaporator flasks. This provides true 24 hour walkaway automation on a single platform for high through-put sample clean up. The system is a complete solution which utilises the highest resolution GPC column technology. The pump is specifically designed to operate in the appropriate pressure range for GPC and is not a standard HPLC pump. If you need to change the vessels for collection or injection, it is a simple and rapid task to switch from one rack to another and create a new method. The software is designed specifically for GPC Clean-Up, so there are no redundant analytical options often found in HPLC software and this makes it easier for inexperienced operators to add samples and run the system.
During a run, a sample can be added to the sample queue and prioritised for collection. FreeStyle is fully compatible with the requirements of the following regulatory methods: EN 1528, EN12393, L00.0034, AOAC 984.21, DFG S19, USEPA SW-846 Method 3640A, USFDA and USDA/FSIS CLG-CHC3.
