Kinesis Pipetting Solutions (KPS) is a rapidly expanding pipette repair and calibration service from Kinesis Ltd that offers quality, service and value. However, Kinesis is not just another pipette service company - the launch of the service was driven by extensive market research and customer feedback. This has resulted in Kinesis Pipetting Solutions offering unrivalled levels of service and data reporting to support the modern laboratory.

The KPS service is UKAS accredited to ISO 17025, and ILAC sub licensed. All calibration is performed gravimetrically in accordance with ISO 8655-6. In addition, calibrations are carried out in accordance with manufacture’s specifications. Uncertainty of measurement are calculated and reported on a UKAS accredited certificate.

KPS offer both UKAS and General Calibration for volumetric measurement. For UKAS Calibration, customers can select from either the 3 volume 10 readings or 3 volume 5 readings. The latter is a new calibration service only available from KPS, offering cost benefits to the customer. For General Calibration, we are able to offer (a) accuracy and linearity check, (b) accuracy, precision and linearity check and (c) calibration of all channels simultaneously at all calibration levels.

The Kinesis Pipetting Solutions team have extensive experience in pipette service and calibration, including current ISO 17025 requirements. The latest equipment includes 5 and 6dp analytical balances used at our purpose built Pipette Servicing Suite and at customer facilities. The team has the knowledge to calibrate and repair all common all manufacturers’ single and multi-channel pipettes, manual and electronic.

Data reporting is performed using tailor-made calibration software. The data is uploaded to our System Solution software, which can be accessed online using a secure site. This system has been used for a number of years to support the Kinesis Solutions Instrument Service Division. Following registration, customers have full access to calibration certificates and service records.

Kinesis offer both onsite and return to base programmes. These services ensure we can meet the needs of each and every customer. The onsite service ensures rapid turn around and flexibility based around the customers workload. Return to Base is an ideal option where one off repairs and calibrations are required.
